Uncommon Armor
The basic means of personal protection in the Post-DammerungAge.
Armor has two important characteristics:
- Protection - this value is how much damage is negated by the armor per Attack.
- Weight Penalty - This value is how many action points your total is reduced by when wearing this armor. It is also the dice penalty you receive when casting spells, sneaking, or otherwise impeded in this armor.
Expedition Ulster - Light Armor
Thick, treated leather covers the upper body from blows and the elements in a sort of half cape over a long coat. Common traveler's attire, it is worn most by coachmen that prefer the high collar to protect the face from wind. Small pockets lining the sleeves and on the inside of the coat are fitted to hold a multitude of survival tools, as well.

Fine Underchain - Light Armor
A thin, finely crafted chain shirt that offers basic protection. Hard to spot under a few layers of clothes, it is common amongst people trying to surreptitiously protect themselves.

Elven Kha'Ehr Brigandine - Light Armor
Mastercraft Elven Armor given to both diplomats and soldiers alike. The Kha'Ehr is perfected for elven form, so it might not fit a human as well without being reworked. It offers maximum protection with no encumbrance. Gossamer metal inlay usually bears the crests and sigils of the bearer's Elven lineage across the back, arms and chest.

Splinted Greatcoat - Medium Armor
A greatcoat with the chest and back lined with hardened, overlapping splints for protection. It is common armored attire for scouts and bounty hunters. It retains popularity from a set of external holsters for quick drawing.

- Speed Holster - One weapon or two weapons with the concealable trait do not count towards your 10 item limit. Drawing these weapons is a Free Action.

Byrnie Jacket - Medium Armor
A full chain jacket with felt liner and high collar. Common issue among infantry and mercenary companies. It has a number of pouches and button on pockets for carrying equipment deep in field.

Gunner Flak Catcher - Heavy Armor
Heavy gunner teams, who are at the most risk during an airship sortie, are usually out in the open. Gunners wear a suit of armor called a Flak Catcher, which protects from high altitude winds, ship to ship bombardment and boarding actions. Each suit is equipped with space for basic tools under the storm flap and in the coat lining.

Griffin Demi-Lance - Heavy Armor
The original Griffin Order were a group of knights that defended theocratic Dumahim at the height of the pre-Dammerung era. Atop mighty griffins they rode and required specialty armor with both profound flexibility and protection.
