Uncommon Melee Weapons
Melee weapons still exist as sidearms and support during a boarding action. Though a few militaries still train and equip their soldiers with melee weapons for close in fighting.
Quarterstaff
An uncommon weapon in an age of steel, Dumahim monks and squires are only allowed to carry weapons to subdue or ward off attackers during their pilgrimage on the Saint's Road to Holy Duma.

A long knife with a set of brass knuckles bolted into the handle. Common amongst Nafgallan officers as a sidearm.

Standard issue sidesword, carried by Nafgallan Dragoons. It's straight edge and basket hilt make it capable of heavy stabs and balanced defense.

Pathfinder Backsword
A top heavy sword, curved forward for hacking through underbrush and beasts alike. It is also used by scouts and sailors because of its ability to hack through heavy ropes and rigging.

Used by civic defense forces to keep public order.

Dwarven Tunnel Axe
Dwarven tunnels used to be fraught with danger. Rather than having a separate weapon for fighting, various digging tools were optimized for combat.

Nepsine Sledge
A common weapon in the Order of Nepsis. Warrior priests are trained in these iconic hammers to build a sympathetic bond with their goddess in battle. They commonly resemble The Ramulthien, Nepsis’ unstoppable hammer of lore.

Half-Pike
A 6ft spear used to repel boarding actions on Dumahim patrol ships. Originally used as a symbol of station, amongst the Order of the Griffin, it has been spread to more common use among mercenaries and even merchant caravans.
